Questions

The things people ask me.

If your question isn't here, message me — I would rather answer it once properly than have you guess.

Ordering

How do I actually order?

Message me on WhatsApp with the piece, the shade and the length. There is no cart, because nothing here exists until it is asked for. We agree the details in a few messages, and then the weaving starts.

Why is there no price on the site?

Because a piece is priced by what it takes — the size of the net, the number of beads and the hours involved — and those change from piece to piece. Tell me what you want and I will give you a straight number before anything begins.

How do I pay?

We settle that in the same conversation, before I start. Ask me and I will tell you exactly what I accept and when I ask for it.

How long does it take?

About a fortnight for most pieces, from the moment we agree the details. A bridal set or several pieces together takes longer — ask early if you have a date.

The pieces

What are they made of?

Fine glass seed beads, worked by hand in netting stitch into a diamond lattice that holds its shape by tension alone. No casting, no printing, no wire frame.

Can I get a colour that is not one of the six?

Often, yes. The six shown are the ones I have woven and photographed, so I can promise you exactly what they look like. Everything is made to order, so nothing sits in stock — if you want a colour that is not here, send me a photo of it and I will tell you honestly whether I can source glass that matches.

Can you make something that is not on the site?

Yes, and most of what is on the site started that way. Describe it, or send a picture of what you have in mind. I will tell you whether the weave can do it — some shapes genuinely cannot be woven, and I would rather say so than deliver a compromise.

Are the photographs real?

Yes. Every piece you see is photographed, and every photograph is of something I have actually woven — not a render, not a stock image, not a colour I have never made. A few of the quieter pages carry a line drawing of the weave as decoration; no piece is ever represented by one.

How heavy is it?

Much lighter than it looks. Glass seed beads and thread weigh a fraction of what the equivalent metal piece would, which is the main reason these are wearable all day.

After it arrives

What if it does not fit?

Send it back to me and I will adjust it. A handmade piece is worth altering rather than replacing — that is the point of it being made by a person. Get the measurement right first, though: see the fit guide.

What if it breaks?

Thread can be re-strung and a net can be repaired. Send me a photo before you try anything yourself, and I will tell you what is involved.

Do you ship outside India?

I ship across India as standard. For anywhere else, ask me first — I will check what it costs and how long it takes before you commit to anything.

How do I look after it?

Put it on last, store it flat, wipe it dry, keep it out of long direct sun. The full version is on the care page.

Still wondering something?

Ask me directly. It is the same person answering here and on WhatsApp.
